You know, I think I enjoyed Netflix’s I Don’t Need Therapy I Just Need More Books Shirt Space Force more than most people, but in the very first chapter, some troubling themes are established and then carried throughout the series. There is a dispute about whether or not to scrub an important launch, with our protagonist fighting to go ahead with the launch, despite all of the scientists telling him it’s a bad idea. Eventually, he approves the launch, and it is successful, with the character who represents “the science” saying to him “You were right, but how did you know?” For one, just because the launch was successful, doesn’t mean the scientist was wrong.
