To be fair with soft drinks (no alcohol) half the glass is normally filled with ice. If you ask for no ice you get more coke (or whatever) so with nonalcoholic drinks it works. I’m that guy I guess. Not because I’m cheap, I usually spend a fair bit when I go out. I just don’t like shit drinks. I wouldn’t pour a shit drink at home. Why would I want one when I’m out? Strong drinks are not “free extra booze” just the same as large portions are not “free extra food”.
