The Amazon Essentials Women’s Studio Open-Back Short Sleeve T-Shirt is extremely flattering. The top is supposed to be a looser fit; however, it still is running at least one size larger than it should be running. I am 5’4 and normally wear a Small in traditional clothing. I ordered one Small and one Extra Small. The Extra Small fits better but is still a tad large. The colors are muted and the “bar” in the back of the shirt makes it look different than just a plain T-shirt. This can be dressed up or down. I may order another.

The first time I put it on the strap of fabric on the back came off on one side. I sewed it back. If you don’t know how to sew and you don’t want to have to do repairs, this probably isn’t the best top for you.

I am 5’3 and 145#. I typically wear size Large in shirts, as I don’t like them to cling. After reading other reviews, I decided to size-down on this purchase and get a Medium. It is huge! It’s very wide, to the point where it inevitably turns into an off-the-shoulder shirt. The fabric is soft, and if you don’t mind the fit it would be very cute. Personally I would not reorder, even if it was a smaller size as I think it would still be too wide.

Update- ordered a large and it fits great and the materialis soft but maintains shape which is importantbc of the back it hangs perfectly! I wear an XL and honestly this was like a 2x. The back is so low that a backless bra wld be necessary. Im a 42 C and even my 2 closure tshirt bra was visable. It wasnt just too big width wise but it hung off my shoulders too. The sleeve length was longer than pictured as well. I am returning and ordering a L bc it was super soft and wld hang better with the correct size

I LOVE the material in this shirt. Super comfy and kinda stain-resistant. I’ve ordered three of these and here’s the problem: I ordered a grey XL and it wasn’t quite long enough for a workout shirt. (Didn’t quite covert my bottom.) So, then I ordered an XXL white – which did cover my bottom but fell off my shoulders like I was wearing a garbage bag. It was like I went up 2-3 sizes instead of 1. Then I ordered a navy blue XL, and it fit PERFECT. So, inconsistent quality but super cute when it works out and very comfy. Order it, but leave yourself open to returning it for another size if you need to.

I like the pattern a lot, but unfortunately the sizing is off. I usually wear a small (size 4) top and this was just a tad too big, even when I ordered an x-small. This is the smallest size they carry, so I might have to return it.
I would also not consider this a work out t-shirt, unless you are doing yoga, Pilates, low impact exercise. The fabric is thicker than I envisioned and is not soft nor comfy like some of the other reviewers mentioned. It may get softer over time, the more you wash it?
I would categorize this item as a casual shirt to wear in-between seasons such as Spring or Fall under a cute blazer. Wearing this in the summer would make me uncomfortably hot.
Maybe I received a defective shirt, but either way it’s going back to its original owner since there isn’t a smaller size available to me. Oh well…you win some, you lose some

These fit exactly as expected. I ordered down a size from what was recommended because I have a small waist, am not very busty and have large hips, so I always do that and see how it works. They fit fine and are not tight. If you like a very loose fit, order based on the chart.
The black fabric is much softer than the printed. Overall I like them. I like the fit and style and would buy more. I only wish the fabric felt the same on both.

Perfect athleisure especially paired with a strappy back sports bra. I’m 5’4″, 130 – 135 lbs, and pear shaped. Size small fits perfectly and looks adorable with leggings.
